MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: ALYSSA MAGALONG

Alyssa Magalong is an excellent strategic communicator, marketer, and writer. She is an Admissions Advisor and also a Volunteered with us for our 2019 Passport2Freedom Gala. We wanted to sit down with Tiffany to find out what makes her tick.

​What do people often thank you for?
People often thank me for my work ethic, encouragement, big heart, positive attitude, and smile! 🙂

What do you see as your place or purpose in life? How did you come to that conclusion?
My purpose in life is to serve as a positive role model for young people, as well as to build fearless and confident leaders as a youth volleyball coach, admissions counselor for an international nonprofit, fashion model, ballroom dancer, and former pageant titleholder. I’m thankful to have had a strong support system of mentors growing up, who encouraged and challenged me in ways that I didn’t think was possible. Because of my mentors, I wanted to be a role model like they were to me and make a similar impact. Everyday feels fulling knowing that I, and many others, am making an impact on the hearts of young people: locally, nationally, and globally.
