MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: RICHARD BATENBURG III

Richard M. Batenburg III (Rick) serves as a member of our Executive Board of Directors at Global Orphan Prevention, having joined us in December 2019.

He is the co-founder of Cliintel Capital Management Group (CCMG), a venture firm focused on emerging markets in tech and consumer products, and more specifically cannabis. CCMG became the first Qualified Institutional Investment capital firm In Colorado. After three years of playing JR hockey in Canada, Rick graduated, second in his class, at Nichols College where he received a degree in Finance and Business. Rick began his professional career as a wealth management advisor at Merrill Lynch where he managed over $100MM in assets, specializing in IPO and secondary issue buys, with an additional focus on private equity deals.
