What do people often thank you for?

I find that most people thank me for being understanding and patient, especially when it comes to difficult situations. I try to show kindness and patience in everything I do and I appreciate when that comes to get noticed.

What do you see as your place or purpose in life? How did you come to that conclusion?

I believe my purpose is to learn all that I can from the experiences I have and use those lessons and memories to enhance the lives of others. I came to this conclusion during my various travels around the world as I met a variety of diverse people who I discovered had contrasting desires to mine, but inspired me nonetheless.

What’s your favorite aspect about being on the Board of Director? And what are your current duties?

Being a part of GlobalOP/Compass Rose International allows me to gain awareness about issues that I was not very knowledgeable about in the past. Through this I have gained a broader idea of how to generate real change. I enjoy designing marketing efforts that spread these messages to the general public. I have only just started interning, but so far I have already created two Tiktoks/Instagram reels.

If Global Orphan Prevention were to be on the cover of your favorite magazine in five years, what would the story be about?

If Global Orphan Prevention were to be on the cover of my favorite magazine in five years, the story would entail an incredible non-profit that managed to inspire change and save the lives of thousands of young women and children. The story would recognize the immense efforts that GlobalOP made to spread awareness and generate a new focus on orphan prevention and education.

What do you feel have been the important successes in your life? The frustrations?

I feel that my most important successes all stem from my drive to succeed and navigate my way through difficult situations even when it feels impossible. The biggest frustrations have been times when almost everything seems to be going the wrong way and I had to keep pushing through to the other side.

What would be your advice to younger generations about learning about causes, getting involved, and doing something about it?

My advice to younger generations would be to take the time to click on those accounts on Tiktok and Instagram that advertise causes and take a second to read into each cause in order to gain more awareness so that they can spread their knowledge to their friends in hopes of someone taking action.
