MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: KIMMY YOOSOOTRONG

Kimmy Yoosootrong is a talented Technical Project Manager and Volunteer at Global Orphan Prevention. She is the Catering & Vendor Relations Lead on our Gala Planning Committee for our Passport2Freedom Gala. She helps us with with her organizacional and leadership skills, and he incredible connections to the catering industry in Denver. We wanted to know more about Kimmy and she what drives her.

What do people often thank you for?
Planning events and getting people together.  I love planning parties or organizing events for my friends to see each other and spend time together.

​What do you see as your place or purpose in life? How did you come to that conclusion?
I really don’t know what my purpose is! I’ve been asking God for many years to give me a sign and recently he gave me children!  So, maybe that’s it.  I now get to raise these little people to grow up to be smart, strong, caring and good-hearted people.  To guide them and teach them, give them the best life possible.  It’s no longer about just me anymore, I have these lives that I’m in charge of and I will do everything and anything for them.  Other than that, I’m still trying to figure that out.  It might just be exploring and discovering all that life has to offer.  Meeting people and experiencing things.  Maybe my purpose is not to find it, but just to live it to the fullest, appreciate each day and spend it with the ones I love.
